The Faculty of Dramatic Arts was established in 1964 with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Arts and was dissolved in 1970 with the beginning of the Cultural Revolution.

Successful performance of "Waiting for Godot" at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts
Fall 1976 [November] A photo of the performance of "Waiting for Godot" "translated and directed" by Dr. Abdolhossein Fahim, a radio employee, who studied theater in America and came to Iran with his very kind American wife and also taught at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. He prepared the play "Waiting for Godot" with a group of acting and directing students of the faculty, and it is the fruit of work throughout the year 1975 and part of the summer and October 1976. Davud Daneshvar, who played Estragon, was introduced as the best actor of the year by one of the prestigious magazines of the time.
